What the Ideal Candidate will do :

The Repair Technician will provide customer service and technical support for tooling products by performing the following duties :

Perform tooling repairs, upgrade, and recommend corrective actions.

Inspect, release, and calibrate tools for quality assurance.

Communicate with team members to ensure effective service and provide technical support to customers.

Troubleshoot, analyze performance issues.

Recommend design or process improvements to address recurring technical issues.

Support other departments as needed.

High school diploma (or equivalent); vocational / technical school training preferred.

Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in automotive or machine tool repair (i.e. CNC machines); or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Must be able to read and understand mechanical blueprints and / or drawings.

Must have quality control inspection experience on repairs.

Must have experience with power tools, hand tools, and precision measuring tools such as dial indicator, depth gauge, calipers, and torque wrench.

Must possess strong communication, math, and computer skills.

Travel up to 10% of the time, sometimes internationally.

Drug and background screenings are conducted upon hire.
