Summary of Duties

The Intake Specialist is a member of the medical team. The Intake Specialist is primarily responsible for community care referrals, new patient orientation, patient reminder calls, preparation of medical files, verifying health insurance data, and performing clerical work such as but not limited to filing, scanning, copying, and faxing. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8am - 5pm, and Thursday are 9am - 6pm.

Minimum Qualifications (The minimum qualifications can be with any combination of education and / or experience.)

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience : At least three years of patient / customer services experience with electronic health system

Preferred :

At least two years of healthcare experience
