A growing, well-established distributor in the building materials and woodworking space is seeking a high-performing Outside Sales Territory Manager to take ownership of a long-standing, revenue-rich territory in the Greater Atlanta market.
This is a rare opportunity to step into hundreds of existing active accounts with no internal competition or overlapping territories. The ideal candidate has experience selling into custom cabinet shops, millwork companies, furniture makers, store fixture manufacturers, or related trades — and thrives in a relationship-driven environment.
✨ What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a defined territory covering Atlanta and surrounding areas (north & west suburbs included)
- Spend 4 days per week in the field meeting with established accounts and developing new business
- Handle a diverse product mix across lumber, plywood, sheet goods, cabinetry hardware, coatings / finishes, fasteners, tools, and other woodworking-related materials
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs, product support, and order growth
- Treat your territory like your own business — driving revenue, service quality, and customer loyalty
- Attend weekly in-office callout days (Fridays)
- Receive hands-on training, product education, and ongoing development with industry specialists
- ? Ideal Background
- 2+ years in outside sales , ideally in building materials, industrial distribution, woodworking, cabinetry, or finish products
- Strong follow-up, organization, and account management skills
- Skilled at working independently, managing a large territory, and building long-term customer relationships
- Familiarity with the Greater Atlanta geography
- Proficient with Excel and professional communication
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required)

- Base salary + Commission :
- Automotive reimbursement : fixed + variable monthly allowance (in place of a gas card or company car)
