Mayfield, Kentucky Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens

Rhino Medical is actively seeking Board Certified Emergency Medicine physicians (EM, IM, or FP trained) for a high-demand locum tenens opportunity in Mayfield, Kentucky. This is a chance to step into a well-respected community hospital’s ED program and provide critical support with long-term extension opportunities.

Assignment Overview

Location : Mayfield, KY

Facility Type : Community Hospital | 14-Bed Emergency Department

Contract Type : Locum Tenens – Ongoing Coverage

Start Date : ASAP – Temp privileges available for clean files

Duration : Long-Term (6+ Months)

Schedule & Coverage

Shifts : 12-Hour Coverage | 6 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM | 6 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM

Shifts per Month : ~24 available

APP Coverage : 11 : 00 AM – 9 : 00 PM daily

Weekend & Night Coverage Required

Clinical Details

Annual ED Volume : ~19,710 visits

Patient Flow : ~1.8 patients / hour

Trauma Designation : None

Admitting Orders : Bridge Orders

Support Staff : APPs on-site + hospitalist program

EMR : MedHost

Candidate Requirements

Board Certification : EM, IM, or FM (within facility eligibility)

Certifications : ATLS, ACLS, PALS (current)

Licensure : Active KY Medical License required

Experience : Prior emergency department experience with comfort managing a full patient mix
