Schedule Details : Night shifts, 8 and 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and holidays.

Unit Overview : Join our dynamic 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, caring for a diverse patient population, including :
Post-operative cases like craniotomies and tumor resections.Spine surgeries including cervical, thoracic, and lumbar.Stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.High volume of spinal surgery patients and medical overflow cases.This position is aligned with the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute, offering exposure to advanced neurosurgical techniques.

Assess patient needs, plan interventions, and evaluate care effectiveness while involving patients and families in the process.Identify and respond to changes in patient conditions and adjust care plans accordingly.Implement patient safety strategies and tailor learning experiences to patient and family needs.Coordinate interdisciplinary discharge planning and apply evidence-based practices in patient care.Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance departmental functions and patient experiences.Demonstrate effective communication, collaboration, and leadership within the care team.Licensure and Certification Required :
Registered Nurse license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.Education Required :
Completion of an accredited nursing program.Experience Required :
Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.Skills and Abilities :
