Description :
Must have recent experience in outpatient orthopedics.
Days needed are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Shifts / hours are from 08 : 00 to 18 : 30.
There is one weekend per month on call from 07 : 00 to 09 : 00.
Patient caseload primarily consists of outpatient cases.
Focus areas include orthopedics, general deconditioning, balance and fall prevention, and other diagnoses based on the PT's skills.
Care is primarily one-on-one with patients.
Inpatient and acute care responsibilities may be required as needed.
Electronic Medical Record system used is Cerner.
Preferred experience includes inpatient or acute care, with training and mentoring provided if needed.
Other PT specialties that are preferred include pelvic health, vestibular rehab, outpatient neuro rehab, pediatrics, and / or lymphedema.
This position primarily involves outpatient orthopedics, with minimal work on the inpatient / acute care side.
Regular hours are Monday through Thursday, four days a week, plus one weekend per month on call for approximately two hours per weekend day.
The position may require floating to other units as needed.
