Social Worker

Iowa County is seeking applications for a full-time Social Worker in the Youth and Family Unit of the Social Services Department. Essential duties include but are not limited to child protective services, initial assessment, ongoing services, juvenile justice, foster care, out of home placements, and other services to children and families. Starting pay is $30.46 / hr. and a generous, comprehensive benefit package is provided.

Minimum requirement include : Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field, preference for one year of social work experience in a county social services department. Current WI Social Work certification or the ability to attain the certification within two (2) years of employment required. Applicants are subject to a criminal background check.
