Maintenance Supervisor - 100% Onsite

We want you to join our team! We are seeking a maintenance supervisor for our residential property located in Hoffman Estates, IL.

Job Summary :

The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for managing and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the community's facilities, buildings, and grounds are in excellent condition. This role involves supervising a team of maintenance and janitorial staff, managing schedules, and responding to service requests. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a solid understanding of maintenance practices, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff, including task assignment, guidance, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure timely and high-quality completion of preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance tasks.
• Conduct pre- and post-move-out inspections and manage unit turnarounds.
• Develop and manage maintenance schedules for routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades.
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, and reorder as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and community policies through regular inspections and hazard mitigation.
• Assist in preparing and managing the maintenance budget, including tracking expenses and identifying savings.
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, work orders, and inventory usage.
• Coordinate with other departments, contractors, and vendors for maintenance projects.
• Collaborate with the Director of Operations on capital budgets and projects.
• Foster positive relationships with residents by addressing concerns and providing excellent service.
