Job Summary
As an Emergency Room Registered Nurse, you will collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to provide exceptional patient care, utilizing the nursing process. Your responsibilities will include conducting assessments, assisting with examinations and treatments, educating patients, and maintaining accurate medical records. We value experience and are looking for RNs with specific qualifications :
- Must have 2+ years of RN Emergency Room experience.
- PRN Requirements : Minimum of 6 shifts per 6 weeks, including 2 weekend shifts and one holiday during summer and winter.
- Completion of a BSN program is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
Education : Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; Bachelor's of Nursing preferred.Licenses / Certifications :Current State of Texas license or temporary / compact license to practice professional nursing.Certified in Basic Life Support.Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and / or nursing unit requirements.Experience / Knowledge / Skills :
Minimum of two (2) years of Clinical RN experience.Key Responsibilities
Deliver safe and appropriate patient care tailored to the individual needs of patients.Coordinate nursing care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team while making informed clinical decisions.Foster collaboration and direct the healthcare team to achieve positive patient outcomes based on evidence and professional standards.Develop and implement comprehensive treatment and discharge plans.Engage in ongoing evaluation of programs and processes to improve patient-centered outcomes.Ensure exceptional service by considering the diverse needs of each patient throughout their care continuum.Comply with all regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards.Promote your professional growth through continuing education and skills competency, serving as a mentor to less experienced staff.Demonstrate our commitment to personalized and compassionate care for every individual in our community.Perform additional duties as assigned within your scope of practice and competency.
