Job descriptionEvaluate each emergency call to determine the best medical response while following established Paramedic protocols. Utilize advanced Paramedic skills and medical equipment, such as defibrillators and EKG monitors, to deliver essential medical care. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to provide reassurance and clarity during emergencies. Lead the Paramedic team at the scene, taking charge of unit and scene management as necessary. Operate the ambulance in response to 911 calls, ensuring safe transport to medical facilities. Collaborate professionally with other healthcare professionals and first responders to ensure coordinated care. Engage in community outreach programs to enhance the AMR's reputation and foster community relations. High school diploma or equivalent (GED). Current State Paramedic License. Valid State Driver's License. Certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic. Driving record must comply with company policy. Successfully pass a Physical Agility Test. Prior experience in healthcare is preferred. Paid Shift Differentials Enhanced Holiday Pay Paid Training Paid Wellness Days Generous PTO Accruals
Salary Range : $73,394.83 - $112,102.00 depending on experience
- Relocation Assistance : Up to $5,000 potentially available for FULL TIME Paramedics. Inquire within.
