Position Objective & Professional Profile

The primary objective for this position is to produce / edit creative and stimulating Chinese content consisting of sports and gaming topics that appeal to the targeted demographic area. The ideal candidate will evaluate articles for grammar and consistency.

Standard Duties & Supporting Responsibilities

• Proofread for proper grammar, style, flow & factual accuracies
• Work with Team Leader to identify appropriate keywords for page topics
• Check for plagiarism or other related sourcing issues
• Review pages before publication to ensure formatting is correct & hyperlinks are appropriate
• Provide detailed feedback for Team Leader review

Required Experience

Excellent grasp of proper literary expression in both Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese

Demonstrated excellence in editing, proofreading and writing skills

High-level of creative thinking

Extreme attention to detail with consistent organizational and time-management skills

Advanced proficiency using Microsoft Word or other word processing programs

Recommended Qualifications

Degree in Chinese Language or Literature preferred

Experience with Chinese Social Media

Thorough knowledge of the sports, gaming, and / or esports industries
