BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring experienced Licensed Veterinary Technicians to work in our busy Emergency and Critical Care department at our Downtown, NY hospital, sign on bonus available!

BluePearl is looking for an energetic, determined, knowledge-seeking an Overnight Veterinary Technician for our emergency service. If you would love a three-day work week with a long weekend every week allowing for a more predictable schedule and great work-life balance. I f you have a drive to expand your knowledge and skill set, and an excitement to further your anesthesia, surgery, CT, and scoping skills, then our Emergency Technician spot is the place for you!

This position is eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus, for qualified candidates.

Pay : $26.50 - $51.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our leveling system .

• Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience

Our Continuing Education Plan includes $500 / year reimbursement for CVT and $750 / year for VTS. The Continuing Education allowance can roll over up to $1,500 for CVT and VTS associates. Non-Credentialed, full-time Paraprofessionals are eligible for an annual CE stipend of $150. Full-time CVT associates also receive 8 hours of CE paid hours each year. Full-time VTS associates receive 12 hours of CE paid each year. Paid CE hours can be carried over year to year up to a maximum of 24 hours. Newly hired associates will receive a pro-rated amount of any CE benefit for which they are eligible.
