Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the 20252026 school year in Middletown, New York, supporting preschool and K-12 school-aged students. This school-based role offers an opportunity to work within a collaborative educational environment focused on fostering student communication development.
Responsibilities :
- Deliver speech and language therapy aligned with students IEP goals and state guidelines.
- Conduct assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress.
- Collaborate with educators, related service providers, and families to enhance communication outcomes.
- Participate in Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings and contribute to intervention planning.
- Maintain accurate documentation including session notes and progress reports.
- Address articulation, language, fluency, and social communication challenges across academic and social contexts.
Required Qualifications :
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Active New York State SLP license and current Teaching Certification (TSHH / TSLD) or eligibility to obtain.Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred.Strong skills in interpersonal communication, collaboration, and time management.Location :
Middletown, New York onsite school-based setting.
Schedule :
Full-time, 32.5 hours per week for the full school semester (20252026).
