Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Baltimore, MD 21215 (Maryland healthcare jobs)

Assignment Length : 14 weeks (12 / 15 / 2025 – 3 / 23 / 2026)

Shift : 4x10-hour day shifts per week (06 : 30 – 17 : 00, Monday–Friday)

On-Call : 1 weeknight per week, 1 full weekend per contract, and holiday call as scheduled

Estimated Weekly Hours : 40

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2450–$2620

Patient Population : Adult patients

Unit : 2 North Cath Lab

Cath Lab RN Qualifications

Active Maryland or Compact State Registered Nurse License (required at time of submission)

BLS and ACLS certifications (required for healthcare jobs)

Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience

Proficient in patient assessment, conscious sedation, and hemodynamic monitoring

Ability to respond to the hospital within 30 minutes when on call

Experience with Cerner charting system (preferred)

Previous charge nurse, Trauma Level I / II, and travel nursing experience preferred

Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)

Cath Lab Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver advanced nursing assessment, care, and documentation for patients throughout their Cath Lab procedures (pre-, intra-, and post-procedure)

Administer medications and provide patient comfort, support, and education

Perform and monitor conscious sedation and hemodynamic monitoring

Circulate and assist in scrubbing for cardiac procedures, including sheath removal

Coordinate patient care and manage inventory of supplies and equipment

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Radiology, and Social Services

Operate specialized Cath Lab equipment : IMPELLA, IABP, Pacemaker, AngioJet, Rotoblade, IVUS, Laser

Participate in rotating days off and required on-call coverage (evenings, weekends, holidays)

Float within facility as needed, within scope of RN practice
