Job Details Location : Texas Facility Type : Trauma Center Start Date : Oct 3, 2025 LOA : 9 days Provider Type Needed : Emergency Medicine Physician Schedule : 24-hour shifts (7a-7a) on 10 / 3, 10 / 10, 10 / 17, 10 / 18, 11 / 26, 11 / 28, 11 / 29, 11 / 30; 12-hour shift (7a-7p) on 10 / 19 Responsibilities and Duties Provide care in a Trauma Center with ER beds Manage a diverse patient population : approximately 5 percent trauma, 50 percent pediatrics, and 35 percent geriatrics Perform all lifesaving procedures including intubation, extubation, and ventilation management Conduct comprehensive history and physical examinations Lead and respond to emergency codes Coordinate patient transfers and admissions according to established protocols Collaborate with specialists and referral centers as needed Adhere to OB and transfer / admit protocols Additional Information Texas medical license required Trauma and rural health emergency experience preferred Must be comfortable with all aspects of emergency medicine in a rural setting Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
