- Familiarity with Epic charting system
Description :
The registered nurse will work in a telemetry unit, providing care to adult and geriatric patients.
Common patient diagnoses include congestive heart failure, myocardial infarction, chest pain, dysrhythmias, hypo- and hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and vascular issues.
The nurse will be responsible for a patient ratio of 1 : 4-5.
The role includes working weekends every other week and floating to other units as needed.
If assigned during major holidays, the nurse is expected to work the holidays as scheduled.
Candidates should have strong clinical skills and work well in a team-oriented environment.
The position requires full compliance with documentation and training requirements to start on time.
Travelers must provide two supervisory references for consideration.
The role involves the management of various procedures and equipment associated with cardiac telemetry nursing.
Candidates must be flexible and open to working different shifts or locations as required.
