Deliver quality nursing care through utilization of the nursing process

Work collaboratively with healthcare team members to maintain professional nursing practice standards

Assess physical, psychosocial, and educational needs of patients

Plan and implement nursing care according to patient and family needs

Make appropriate interventions based on individual patient needs

Evaluate patient responses to nursing interventions

Direct, coordinate and delegate activities to foster patient / family centered care

Work every other weekend

No on-call responsibilities

Float to telemetry units : CSU, 3 South, 4 South and Med Surg units : 3 West, 4 West and IPR

3+ years of nursing experience required

Completion of 1 travel assignment required

Paragon EMR experience highly preferred

ACLS certification preferred

BLS certification required

Michigan nursing license required with LARA and Nursys verification

Skills checklist completed within one year of application required

Must maintain strict attendance policy - 3 strikes for absences or being more than 20 minutes late results in immediate termination

Follows clinical interview process with outreach within two hours and decisions typically made same day or next business day
