Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) degree, active Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license, and 1+ years Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers the opportunity to work as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting students in a K-12 school setting in Austin, TX. The role involves providing direct therapeutic services to help students improve their functional abilities and support their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students following individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and families to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies as needed.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute professional insights.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ply with school and legal requirements.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • Valid COTA certification and licensure according to state requirements.
  • Experience working in pediatric or educational settings is preferred.
  • Strong munication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with children, staff, and families.
  • Ability to travel within the school district as needed.
