Job Title : PRN Licensed Nurse Practitioner

Location : Baltimore, MD (BCBIC Sally Port)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES, AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The PRN NP (Nurse Practitioner) will be responsible for :

• Physical Examinations : Performing comprehensive physical examinations.
• Diagnosis and Treatment : Diagnosing and treating illnesses.
• Medication Management : Prescribing, administering, and dispensing medication.
• Patient Education and Counseling : Educating inmates about treatment plans, illness prevention, and other health-related topics.
• Documentation : Maintaining accurate patient records.
• Collaboration : Working with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans.
• Ensuring Safety and Security : Maintaining security of the facility along with other correctional staff.
• Jail intake (Sally Port) experience
• Familiarity with NextGen
