Location : Buffalo, MN

Job Type : Full-time, Monday through Friday, 6AM-2 : 30PM

Pay Range : $60,000-$75,000 Annually

Job Overview : A S hipping S upervisor oversees the logistics of the shipping and receiving operations. They are responsible for coordinating the movement of goods, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, managing staff such as shipping coordinators or material handlers, and optimizing processes to improve efficiency . The Shipping Supervisor also maintain s inventory records, handle s shipping documentation, and ensure s compliance with safety and shipping regulations. Their role is crucial in ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction in the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all aspects of the shipping and receiving department including packaging and warehouse.
• Manage and perform all domestic and international shipping activities. ​
• Oversee packaging of finished product for storage or shipment according to work instructions.
• Ensure that packaging is accurate and appropriate per the customer specifications, in regards to the features of the product and the destination and transportation method being employed.
• Manage the accuracy of raw materials and finished goods. ​
• Maintain and order packaging supplies such as boxes, tape, wrap, pallets and cartons.
• Interface with customer service, engineering, quality, suppliers and carriers. ​
• Create and transact purchase orders and sales orders with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency.
• Manage the shipping / receiving and packaging employees utilizing their competencies in the most cost-effective manner.
• Transact inventory using JobBoss and PICK inventory control systems. ​
• Perform other tasks as assigned and required . ​

Qualifications :

Physical Demands :

Perform physical actions which may include frequent bending, twisting, reaching, walking, consistent standing, and the ability to lift / carry and push / pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Supervisory Responsibilities :

This position will supervise all shipping, receiving, and warehouse employees.
