Unit Overview : Join our dynamic 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, caring for diverse, complex patients including :
Post-operative care for craniotomies, AVMs, and tumor resections.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgical recovery.Patients undergoing treatment for strokes as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.A high volume of cervical and spinal surgeries, alongside medical overflow cases.Within the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), gain exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and cutting-edge care.

Must possess a valid Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is required.Education and Experience :
Successful completion of an accredited Nursing program.A minimum of 1 year clinical nursing experience is typically required.Skills and Abilities :
Ability to provide holistic patient care with a focus on family engagement.Confidence and agility in adjusting care plans in response to patient needs.Proficient in electronic medical records and communication tools.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with patients and colleagues.Effective decision-making abilities under pressure.Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.Physical Requirements :
