Financial Controls Intern

We're looking for well-rounded, motivated students to join us for a 10-week paid internship where you'll gain hands-on experience, build your professional network, and develop valuable skills in a dynamic business environment.

What You'll Experience

As a Financial Controls Intern at FHLBank, you'll :

• Contribute to the daily operations of the Financial Controls team
• Reconcile daily accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Post daily journal entries in accordance with accounting standards
• Assist with the daily general ledger close process
• Support various ongoing and ad hoc projects
• Participate in initiatives related to accounting, financial reporting, and internal controls over financial reporting
• Apply strong problem-solving and communication skills to collaborate across teams and present analytical results effectively
• Contribute to meaningful projects that align with your field of study
• Gain exposure to the finance and banking industry
• Participate in team-building activities, a group project, a community service event, and professional development sessions (including dining etiquette!)
