Job descriptionBoard Certified or Truly Board Eligible (within 0-5 years of residency) - Required - ABMS or AOA Active IA license - Required (candidates without a license will be redirected) Must be available for the requested April shifts listed above Local candidates within driving distance - Preferred COVID Vaccine - Required, note at the time of name clear Ongoing dates TBD No weekends, no call 100% Outpatient coverage, addressing critical labs (hospitalists manage inpatients) Patient population : adult and geriatric 70% oncology, 30% hematology, 0% IM Average of 20 patients per day Trauma level 3 Reason for coverage : provider is leaving EMR : Cerner (Epic FY24) Required procedures : management of VAD / CV catheters, order tests, order images, prescribe meds Administration of chemotherapy : nurse oncologist; Admission of patients : Hospitalists Client is preferring local candidates - they will be putting preference on this when reviewing submissions Fulfilling Work : Make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients dealing with cancer and blood disorders.
