A fantastic locum tenens opportunity is available near Carson, VA, offering a chance to provide quality care in an acute care hospital setting. Position Details :

Specialty : Gastroenterology
Shift Type : 24-hour on-call coverage
Duration : November 18, 2024 December 2, 2024
Setting : Acute care community hospital ED and inpatient consults
Patient Volume :

Average daily hospital-based patients : 510

No outpatient Gastroenterology or Internal Medicine required

Group Size : Solo practice

Procedures Required :

Lower GI Endoscopy : Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS)

Upper GI Endoscopy Types :

With Fulguration of Bleeder (Cautery or Laser)

With Biopsy

Therapeutic and Diagnostic

With PEG (Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastrostomy)

Additional Information :

Onsite Facilities : Lab and X-ray

Documentation System / EMR : EPIC

Trauma Designation : Not a trauma facility

Requirements :

Board Certification in Gastroenterology

Active Virginia Medical License

BLS and ACLS Certifications

Ability to meet credentialing requirements promptly

Travel and Lodging :

Lodging reimbursement per night

Standard / economy travel bookings approved
