Paid Search & Paid Social Manager

Our enterprise client is seeking a Paid Search & Social Media Program Manager to help grow their national direct-to-consumer annuity offer. This role combines expertise in search engine marketing (SEM and SEO) and social media campaigns to drive program awareness, engagement, and sales revenue. The ideal candidate will own end-to-end campaigns across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads (Bing), YouTube, Meta, and related digital channels - leveraging analytics and a test and learn approach to deliver measurable ROI. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical skills and a passion for performance marketing. This is a 40-hour-per-week contract from November through mid-year 2026 with the potential to extend / convert. Candidates must be willing to work a 3-day onsite hybrid schedule in New York, NY. Candidates must also be willing to attend quarterly all-hands meetings in Des Moines, IA (at company expense).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and optimize paid search and social media campaigns aligned with program goals.
• Lead SEM strategy, including keyword research, ad group structuring, and on-page optimization to boost visibility and performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align messaging, landing pages, and conversion paths.
• Partner with internal and agency teams to create compelling, brand-consistent social media content.
• Manage budgets, bids, pacing, and billing to ensure efficient spend and performance against KPIs.
• Analyze campaign performance using GA4 and platform tools, delivering actionable insights to improve ROAS, CAC, CTR, and conversion rates.
• Conduct competitive and audience analysis to refine targeting and messaging strategies.
• Stay current on search engine, LLM, and social media trends to inform campaign recommendations.
• Establish internal SEM and social media processes, including SOPs, QA, and strategic frameworks.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and / or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
