Catia Automation Engineer

Overview

CATIA V5 / 3DExperience experience in design and template development. Proficiency in CATIA design software, CATIA native VBA, VB.NET, VBScripting, and CATScripts. Experience applying automation tools to CATIA V5 and utilizing Knowledgeware (UDF, Powercopy, EKL, Knowledge patterns, Optimizer, Rules, Reactions, etc.) is required.

Overall role involves automation of complex CATIA design geometry to increase designer efficiency, including optimization, calculation and analysis, standardization, layout setup, and any other related CATIA automation to increase design output and quality.

The candidate should be able to create detailed specifications of designer requirements and automation logic, set and maintain a development schedule, and create clear documentation and user guides.
