What You'll Do :

• Perform physical exams and assessments of patients in Urgent Care
• Select orders and perform laboratory and other diagnostic testing to augment physical findings
• Interpret data and diagnostic results for appropriate course of action
• Formulate differential diagnosis based on history, physical and clinical findings, and diagnostic testing
• Document current injury, physical findings, diagnosis, and plan of care in the medical record for each visit daily. Complete charges daily on all patient visits
• Write and call in prescriptions as allowed by formulary and licensure without physician co-signature
• Consult with Emergency Department physician when necessary
• Provide Occupational Health services in Urgent Care
• Provide coverage in the Emergency Department as needed
• Formulate plans that include discharge and needed referral and follow-up care
• Evaluate patient psychological and behavioral responses to interventions for revision of management plan and document changes in the medical record
• Communicate with patients and their family members regarding plan of care
• Perform procedures granted through the credentialing process

What We're Looking For :

Required :

Master's Degree in Nursing, specialized in Emergency / Family Practice

Bachelor of Science degree and graduate of American Medical Association-approved Physician Assistant Program
