What You'll Do

Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as required.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, including sensitive areas relevant to the aerospace and defense environment.

Monitor for unusual activity or unauthorized access to restricted areas, helping to deter potential threats to the location.

Communicate promptly and clearly with Allied Universal management and / or client representatives regarding incidents or suspicious activity.

Support access control procedures by verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points as needed.

Document and report security-related incidents and observations according to Allied Universal and client protocols.

Remain alert to changes in the working environment that may impact security-related responsibilities at the location.

Minimum Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
