Unit : Medical / Surgical (Med / Surg RN)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts / week)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1950–$2090

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State or compact state

Minimum 1 year of recent Medical / Surgical nursing experience

Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, and PALS

Ability to serve as charge nurse as needed

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Medical / Surgical unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress

Administer medications and treatments per physician orders

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

Offer leadership and support as charge nurse when assigned

Educate patients and families on health conditions and post-discharge care
