Certifications : BLS, ACLS

Must-Have : Level 1 trauma experience, EVD experience

Description :

MUST HAVE LEVEL 1 TRAUMA EXPERIENCE.

NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS.

MUST HAVE EVD EXPERIENCE.

Client Pre-Screens required.

Candidates are required to pass a DYS exam prior to accepting.

Two attempts allowed, and if failed, the candidate will be unable to apply for 6 months.

Must have a vehicle for travel.

Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings.

Men must be clean-shaven for fit test.

A pass / fail exam will occur on the first day of orientation.

All RNs are expected to complete a skills lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes.

Float to medical-surgical telemetry and telemetry floors may be required.

All nurses are expected to be competent in maintaining a sterile field.

Additional education on lifts, restraints, and wound care will be provided as part of the orientation.

Must have strong neuro assessment skills and experience with ICP monitoring.

Cancellation policy allows for cancellation of up to 4 shifts during the assignment.

The hospital provides care for patients with various neuro diagnoses, including cranial surgeries, brain tumor removals, and spine surgeries.
