We are seeking Sr. PL / SQL Developer specializing in Oracle ETL process and having expertise in Oracle PL / SQL with DBA
Additional Information
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Addison TX is $115K - $120K / year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities :
- Review the E2E ETL process and apply critical performance tuning skills to optimize the Oracle ETL process and real time operational services.
- Creates documentation for all activities and work with project solution team in design of application and code developed.
- Improving and streamlining processes regarding data flow and data quality to improve data accuracy, viability and value. Challenges data and information integrity.
- Be able to design the conceptual, logical and physical data models necessary to support the data requirements in Data warehouse environments.
- Candidates must work well in a supportive and transparent team environment, while having the ability to research and resolve issues independently.

Primary Skill : Oracle SQL / PLSQL
Secondar Skill : Data Warehousing
Tertiary Skill : ETL Data Frameworks
10+ years of experience (in the financial industry) working experience in Data Warehousing environments with very large amounts of data.Sr. Oracle developer with 12+ years hands on skills to provide effective data design solutions in Data Warehousing environment with very large amounts of data.Advanced Oracle PL / SQL with DBA experience (10+ years) with ability to identify areas needing performance improvement, studying Oracle execution / query plans, Oracle AWR reports and apply skills in identifying problematic areas and fine tune the queries / tables and indexes optimizationsWorking experience building high performance ETL Data Frameworks with error handling and scalability.Strong working experience in database partitions, indexes, CDC, purging, data virtualizations.Strong analytics and communication skills including ability to drive diverse group towards common goals and clearly articulate both problems and proposed solutionsAbility to balance need to deliver multiple concurrent projects while maintaining architectural standards3+ years working experience in Agile / Scrum delivery modelsUnix scripting experience.Strong data analysis skillsCandidates must possess advanced problem-solving skills, analyzing complex data and ability to connect dots to understand data across different systems and multiple claims products, able to work multiple projects assignments concurrently, willingness to self-learn and ability to communicate verbally effectively and concisely and in written / presentable format.Candidates must have good communication skills and the ability to engage multiple business analysts and developers / dev leads and influence teams across Claims technology and the business.Preferred, but not required :
