We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join their Rehabilitative Services team. This position focuses primarily on pediatric patients , with opportunities to also support adults in an outpatient setting. You'll play a key role in helping patients of all ages reach their highest potential in communication and swallowing function.
What You'll Do :
- Conduct evaluations and create individualized treatment plans for pediatric and adult patients.
- Provide direct therapy in an outpatient clinic setting, focusing primarily on pediatrics.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapy goals, strategies, and home programming.
- Document evaluations, progress notes, and outcomes in compliance with policies and regulations.
- Participate in departmental projects, in-service education, and ongoing professional development.
- Support the growth of innovative programs and services within outpatient speech therapy.
What We're Looking For :
Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.Eligible for New York State licensure and registration.Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, or eligibility to obtain.One to two years of pediatric or hospital-based experience preferred; new graduates with strong pediatric practicum experience are encouraged to apply.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 90 days of hire).Why Join This Health Organization?
