Food Service Manager – Assisted Living Facility
Overview
Join our team as a Food Service Manager and help create a safe, clean, and positive dining experience for our residents. We’re looking for someone dependable, organized, and experienced in kitchen operations, especially in healthcare or assisted living settings.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee all kitchen and dietary operations
- Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
- Ensure safe food handling and timely meal service
- Follow menus and dietary modification sheets
- Manage inventory and place food and milk orders
- Monitor refrigerator and freezer temperatures
- Maintain accurate resident diet rosters
- Support and guide dietary staff
- Communicate with the Administrator and care team
- Meet federal and state health department standards and codes for proper food storage, handling, and preparation
