Housing Coordinator On Call Part Time

Description : We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Housing Coordinator to support families experiencing homelessness by conducting intake assessments and securing temporary shelter accommodations when all other housing resources have been exhausted. This role focuses on immediate placement needs rather than long-term case management or follow-up services. This is an essential on-call position supporting weekend and evening coverage for families in crisis. The Housing Coordinator will conduct assessments via phone and meet onsite with families when needed. Schedule On-Call Hours Required : Friday, Saturday and Sunday : 5 PM - 10 PM Requirements Experience in social services / human services, ideally supporting homeless or vulnerable populations Background in roles such as Outreach Coordinator, Housing Specialist, or Supportive Services Specialist preferred Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and ability to support families in crisis Ability to work independently and respond promptly during on-call hours Important information : This position is recruited for by a remote TemPositions Group office.
