A skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist opportunity is available in Charlotte, NC. This contract position within a Special Procedures department is ideal for professionals who have a solid background in advanced imaging techniques and patient care in radiologic environments.

The role requires active registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Candidates should possess proficiency handling Phillips and GE imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality procedural support. A minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or related imaging specialties is essential to provide efficient and safe patient care.

Schedule highlights :

• Day shifts, 9 hours daily
• On-call one day per week (5 PM to 7 AM)
• On-call every sixth weekend from Friday 7 PM through Monday 7 AM

Duties include preparing and operating imaging devices during interventional radiology procedures, collaborating with physicians and healthcare staff, maintaining patient safety protocols, and ensuring precise imaging for diagnostic and therapeutic uses.
