• Description : Henry Ford Health System is seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist with Critical Care fellowship training to join our growing ICU and surgical team at Henry Ford Jackson Hospital a Level 2 Trauma Center located in Jackson Michigan—where high acuity care meets exceptional teamwork and career advancement.Job Description : Provide 8–12 weeks per year of service in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit CVICU including home call coverageOversee a growing team of APPs managing complex post-operative patients such as those recovering from cardiac surgery major vascular procedures and TAVRDeliver comprehensive anesthesia services during non-ICU weeks including General operating room coverage Obstetric anesthesia Healthy pediatric cases.Share OR call duties proportionally based on ICU coverageWork with an experienced multidisciplinary team in a Level 2 Trauma Center settingParticipate in clinical decision-making protocol development and care coordinationEngage in teaching and mentoring opportunities with residents and APPsUtilize Epic EMR for seamless and integrated patient documentationJoin a collaborative and innovative department focused on clinical excellence patient safety and continuous improvementMust be available to start ASAPNot open to Locum and / or Locum to Perm candidatesNot open to candidates who have lapsed Board Certifications and need to obtain them againNot open to providers who want to commute long distances more than 1 hour and / or in conjunction with another jobsNot open to candidates seeking alternate shift schedules to what is described aboveOpen to H1B and J1 Visa CandidatesConditions of Employment : Employee Health requires all employed providers to complete a health screen per HFHS policy.COVID Vaccination Requirement a provider must be fully vaccinated unless they have an approved medical or religious exemption before their application will be forwarded to a specialist during the credentialing process.Credentialing processMust maintain certification status
