A. POSITION PURPOSE
The Law Admissions Counselor is responsible for providing admissions and financial aid counseling to prospective, entering, and continuing students. This position will actively pursue opportunities to recruit students from diverse backgrounds for both the J.D. and LL.M. programs offered by the School of Law, and will serve as the primary contact for students interested in graduate legal programs. This position will represent the School of Law at recruiting events and will review applications for admission.
B. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Pursues opportunities to recruit students from diverse backgrounds for both the J.D. and LL.M. programs offered by the School of Law
2. Serves as primary contact for students interested in graduate legal programs
3. Reviews admissions and scholarship applications, and makes recommendations
Other duties as assigned.

Occasionally supervises work of student assistants.
