Head of Portfolio Management, Fund Finance
Role Overview :
This leadership position is responsible for overseeing portfolio performance and monitoring activities across Fund Finance transactions. The role involves strategic oversight of credit risk, portfolio performance, and governance frameworks, ensuring alignment with global standards and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Oversight : Lead the monitoring and analysis of fund finance exposures, including subscription lines, NAV-based lending, hybrid structures, and GP facilities.
- Risk Management : Ensure robust credit risk assessment and early warning systems are in place, identifying emerging risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
- Team Leadership : Manage and mentor a geographically dispersed team, fostering collaboration and consistency in portfolio analytics practices.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Collaborate with internal teams including Credit, Risk, Coverage, and Product to ensure seamless execution and monitoring of transactions.
- Reporting & Governance : Develop and maintain high-quality reporting frameworks for senior management and regulators, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Process Improvement : Drive enhancements in data quality, analytics tools, and monitoring processes to support proactive portfolio management.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven experience in fund finance, credit risk, or portfolio management, ideally within an international banking environment.Strong understanding of fund structures and lending products, including subscription, NAV, and hybrid facilities.Demonstrated leadership in managing cross-regional teams and complex portfolios.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and governance frameworks relevant to fund finance.
