Travel Nurse RN - Medical Intensive Care Unit - $2,307 per week in Baltimore, MD

Job Title : Medical ICU Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Medical Intensive Care Unit Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night Hours per Shift : 12 hours (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM) Experience : 2.5 years of strong ICU experience with at least one contract in a MICU. License : RN License Certifications : BLS, ACLS, Critical Care Certification preferred Must-Have : Strong experience in high acuity ICU patient population with complex medical diagnoses. Description : The position requires strong ICU experience with a focus on high acuity patients. Candidates should have experience with complex medical diagnoses including end-stage renal disease, multisystem organ failure, and critically ill patients. Preferred background includes surgical ICU experience and familiarity with trauma courses. The nurse / patient ratio is typically 1 : 1 or 1 : 2. Availability to float as needed to areas with like skill sets is expected. Weekend commitments involve working 3 out of 6 weekends during a 6-week schedule. Availability for holiday shifts may also be required. Candidates should be prepared for calls as needed during the schedule.
