Field Service Technician

Nidec Minster Corporation, the largest manufacturer of material forming presses in the United States has an immediate opening for a Field Service Technician . This person will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance to assist customers with their Minster supplied equipment, supervising / instructing personnel in setting up equipment in customer plants, training customer's personnel on proper maintenance and operation of Minster equipment.

Field Service Technician Job Responsibilities :

• Provide technical and maintenance support to Minster's customers with their metal forming equipment
• Commission new and remanufactured metal forming equipment in customers' plants
• Audit customers' metal forming equipment and report all repair requirements found
• Provide written and oral reports in English in an accurate and professional manner
• Promote service parts and preventative maintenance contracts
• Work flexible hours to support customer service needs - primarily day shift with some off-shift support
