Job description

Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant, Illinois - 3 to 4 Weeks Monthly

Inpatient-only CTS PA assignment in Urbana, Illinois with flexible weekday blocks and full travel covered.

Highlights

Work 3 to 4 weeks per month; consistent weekday blocks
Long-term assignment potential with flexible start date
Flights, hotel, rental car, and mileage included
Join an established cardiothoracic surgery team

Practice Setting

Hospital-based inpatient-only CTS service; no clinic

EPIC EMR system

Support team includes RN, CV supervisor, and 5 APPs

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm

Optional weeknight and weekend call (not guaranteed)

Credentialing in 90 days

Cases and Procedures

First assist in CABG, AVR, MVR, and ECMO

Pre-op and post-op rounding and management

EVH experience preferred but not required

Requirements

Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C)

Active Illinois license required

ACLS certification required
