Hematology / Oncology Physician

A reputable hospital in central Michigan has an opportunity for a Hematologist Oncologist to assist their team with locum coverage.

About the Opportunity :

• Schedule : Monday-Friday, 8a-5p
• 1 : 5 shared call required, 5p-7a
• Setting : Inpatient and outpatient
• Daily Volume : 10-15 inpatients, 15 outpatients
• Patient Population : Adult and geriatric
• Nearly all hematology cases
• Duties : Participation on a tumor board, ordering tests and images, and prescribing medication
• Required Procedures : FNA / biopsy
• Support Staff : 6 MDs, 5 inpatient APPs, 6 outpatient APPs
• EMR : Epic
• Must be board-certified
• Paid travel & expenses
