POSITION SUMMARY

The Site Medical Director serves as the responsible Physician and health authority per national standards, overseeing clinical services to ensure the delivery of necessary medical care both on-site and off-site, without additional managerial responsibilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Fully licensed to practice in the state of employment.
• Current DEA Registration.
• Preferred Board Certification.
• Fluency in English, including reading, writing, and understanding.
• Team-oriented with a supportive attitude.
• Able to make independent decisions when needed.
• Skilled in tactfully managing interactions with personnel, visitors, and government agencies.
• Leadership abilities and capacity to work well with and supervise other staff.
• No direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace.
• Experience in sub-acute inpatient care and hospitalist settings.
