Outpatient clinic with a focus on ALS patient care

January 1, 2025

Ongoing locum coverage

Monday through Friday, daytime shifts (8-hour days)

Key Responsibilities

Average of 6-7 patients per day

100% adult, outpatient cases

Independent role with a focus on ALS patients; no additional neurologists on staff

Utilizes the EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) system

Requirements

Valid and current New York State medical license

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology; Palliative Care, Hospice, Physiatry, or Internal Medicine with relevant ALS experience also considered

Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required

Prior experience with ALS or other neurological disorders strongly preferred

Compensation and Benefits

Hourly rate; submit your best rate upon application

Travel

Hotel and rental car expenses covered
