Closer

Position Summary

The Closer is responsible for balancing closing disclosures and sending initial and final loan Documents to the closing agent. Inputting and validating Borrower and loan information to insure a compliant loan is closed. Closers are also responsible for initiating funding approval and delivering funds. The individual must be able to concentrate in an open and fast-paced environment, have a high degree of accuracy, and be able to work well under pressure. The individual must have strong communication skills and be able to develop relationships with co-workers, attorneys, and title companies. Must be able to prioritize, follow instructions, take direction from others, and work well alone or in a group. Must be familiar with general mortgage terms, can recognize, and understands the documents required in the processing and closing of mortgage loans.

Location

Fully remote or In-Office / Hybrid schedules available.

Pay Disclosure

The starting base hourly pay range for this position is $27.88 - $33.65 per hour. The actual base is dependent on many factors such as : work experience, business needs, market demands, and other compensation components. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience in Funding and Closing Document Preparation, or a combination thereof.
• Demonstrated strong knowledge of the mortgage industry.
• Must have excellent communication skills, be detail-oriented, and be a self-motivated individual.
• Problem solver with excellent analytical skills.

Education

High school diploma or GED required

Work Authorization

Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S without company visa sponsorship.
