POSITION SUMMARY :
The Receptionist / Patient Accounts Representative (Receptionist / PAR) functions as an intermediary between staff, patients, peers, and visitors. The Receptionist / PAR is responsible for maintaining the organization of the medical office by performing various administrative and clerical tasks essential to the provision of efficient and effective care. The Receptionist / PAR is also responsible for the registration of new patients, insurance verification and account counseling.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Experience counting money accurately, required
- Experience as a receptionist, patient account representative or similar role, preferred
QUALIFICATIONS :
WORK SCHEDULE : Rotating shifts :
Week one : Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, 8 : 00AM - 8 : 00PM, Sunday, 1 : 00PM - 8 : 00PM
Week two : Wednesday and Thursday, 8 : 00AM - 8 : 00PM
