Unit Overview : Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit where you will engage with a diverse patient population including :
Post-operative care for craniotomies and spine surgeriesPatients with hemorrhagic and ischemic strokesCutting-edge neurosurgical techniques through the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation InstituteWhat You’ll Do :

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individual patient care plansRecognize changes in patient conditions and adjust care accordinglyImplement patient safety strategies and foster readiness to learnCoordinate discharge planning with interdisciplinary teamsEvaluate patient and team outcomes for continuous improvementPromote communication and collaboration within the healthcare teamSupport shared governance and quality improvement initiativesRequirements :
Current RN license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationCompletion of an accredited nursing program1 year of clinical nursing experience preferredKnowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Ability to provide holistic patient careProficient in electronic medical record systemsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving abilitiesPhysical Requirements : Must be able to lift and carry specified weights, perform patient transfers, and operate necessary equipment while adhering to safety standards.
