Hospitalist opening - Brainerd, MN Position Details - Full-time, permanent- Flexibility to split with outpatient Family Medicine or Internal Medicine if desired- Pay incentive for extra shifts- Full-time equivalent = 24 weeks / year- Well-established Hospitalist program and Top 100 Rural Hospital in America- 162-bed hospital and Level III Trauma Center- Schedule : 7 on 7 off, 12 hour shifts.- Hospitalists will cover Med / Surg & ICU, including ventilator co-management with intensivist, RT, and remote support from Duluth- Current team is 10 physicians and 2 NPs- Opportunity to teach and precept medical and PA students, and for future program leadership- 13-16 patients per day, per hospitalist (rounding and admitting) - Average inpatient practice volume per day : Med Surg-50 / ICU-10.
