Key Responsibilities :

• Medication Dispensing : Accurately and efficiently dispense prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs while adhering to all legal and regulatory requirements.
• Patient Consultation : Provide personalized consultation to patients regarding the proper use of medications, potential side effects, and interactions with other drugs or food.
• Medication Management : Review and verify medication orders, ensuring appropriateness and safety. Monitor patient medication therapy and provide recommendations for modifications as needed.
• Record Keeping : Maintain accurate patient records, including medication history, allergies, and current treatments. Ensure compliance with legal and organizational documentation standards.
• Collaboration : Work closely with healthcare providers to discuss and resolve medication-related issues. Collaborate with other pharmacy staff and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Inventory Management : Oversee inventory levels, including ordering and stocking medications. Ensure proper storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
• Patient Education : Educate patients and their families about medication management, health conditions, and preventive care measures.
• Compliance : Adhere to all state and federal regulations, including maintaining confidentiality and following ethical practices.
• Quality Assurance : Participate in quality assurance programs to ensure the highest standards of pharmaceutical care and safety.
