Location : Pompano Beach, FL

Schedule : Monday – Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM; Saturdays, 7 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM

Job Summary :

A well-established HVAC supply distributor is seeking an experienced and customer-focused HVAC Counter Sales Representative to join our team at our Pompano Beach location. This role is ideal for someone with strong knowledge of HVAC parts and equipment who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys helping customers find the right solutions for their needs.

Key Responsibilities :

Customer Service & Sales

Greet and assist walk-in customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Offer technical support and product recommendations for HVAC equipment and supplies.

Generate price quotes, process orders, and handle returns and exchanges.

Promote add-on products and current promotions based on customer needs.

Inventory & Product Knowledge

Stay informed about HVAC systems, parts, and inventory updates.

Assist with receiving, labeling, and restocking shipments.

Guide customers to the right products and suggest suitable alternatives when necessary.

Order Management & Transactions

Process payments via cash, credit card, or customer account.

Maintain accurate sales, order, and inventory records.

Communicate with warehouse staff to ensure prompt and accurate order fulfillment.

Communication & Teamwork

Work closely with warehouse, sales, and purchasing teams to meet customer expectations.

Respond promptly to customer inquiries or issues and ensure follow-through.

Keep the sales counter clean, well-organized, and professional-looking at all times.

Qualifications : Experience

Minimum 2 years of HVAC counter sales experience in a supplier or distribution environment required.

Strong working knowledge of HVAC components, tools, and systems.

Skills

Outstanding customer service and communication skills.

Team-oriented with a proactive and dependable attitude.

Computer literacy, including experience with inventory and sales management software.

Bilingual in English and Spanish required.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.

Comfortable standing for extended periods while serving customers.
